It was elegant, classic but also very modern and yet understated all at the same time. I found it my first day looking at dresses and it completely caught me by surprise. My dress was my favorite part of my ensemble though. I loved that my shoes were blue as it fit very well into our blue theme. Scott bought me my Manolo Blahnik blue shoes as a graduation present when I got my Master’s degree so that was very special to me- my first pair of designer shoes! Plus- it helps that there’s a little “Sex & the City” nod in there since I love that show. What did you like most about your hair, shoes, and dress? The postcards were then placed in a cool mini travel trunk. Also instead of a guest book we found post cards of all the cities we’ve lived, visited, or were visiting on our honeymoon & had guests write on the back. All the theater-goers watched and cheered after I said “yes”. It was a matinee show and so after the show ended he walked me outside where one of our friends was (conveniently with a camera) and got down on one knee.
